To date there are now over 580 resources listed here. Search for a DVD or a theme or any resource for your classroom or youth group using this website and you'll come up with a list of resource providers.

Surfaid InternationalMalaria Sucks!
Billabong and SurfAid International have produced a new teaching resource called 'Malaria Sucks!', Aimed at Level 5 Social Studies, it is also suitable for studying as a Global Topic in Geography. The resource is free to schools who register and can be downloaded from the website. There is also a DVD available. Learn more about this important issue. Favela Rising is a new documentary about the life of Anderson Sa. Set in the favelas (shantytowns) ofAnderson Sa Rio de Janeiro, this gritty film shows how Anderson Sa decided to stop the cycle of violence that characterised his community. He set up AfroReggae a new form of music and together with friends they formed a cultural group that offered music and acting classes for the youth of the favelas. This movie is a excellent movie that shows what the courage of one person can do for his community. You can hire the film from the Global Education Centre library, or buy the movie from Amazon.com
